This is nice item. I really enjoy the look in the room and the amount of bottles it can hold.

The negative is the shipping of the item and putting it together. The item was was not securely packaged. I lost a couple of screws because of rip hole in the box and the paper container of the rods and screws were not in plastic bags. No damage to the item. Putting the thing together was painful. It was so painful me and wife did not argue because neither of us had any answers. We both agreed this is hard. It took us 2hours and 30 minutes to get it together. We really like the item.

Was very easy to assemble, is very sturdy and looks great. You can leave as plain wood or stain it to another color if you prefer. It has instantly transformed a cool damp unfinished closet in my basement into a wine cellar!

If you are looking for a good sturdy wine rack this is it. I would imagine it would be suitable for basements or very casual surroundings with the plain pine wood that it is made of. It went together fairly easily, although a rubber mallet helped slip the shelves into their appropriate places. The smaller unit that holds 54 bottles has a solid top shelf, in some of the pictures it shows rack spaces.

The racks are outstanding in the fact that they also hold smaller bottles such as ice wines are bottled in; only my larger champagne bottles would not fit side by side, but you can skip spaces or place some with the cork side to the back.

It’s a solid utilitarian rack that really solves space and storage issues.

This is a beautiful wine rack! I couldn’t tell from the product description or anyone’s reviews if this had to be attached to the wall or if it was freestanding. Sadly, I found out that it has to be attached to the wall. But, mine is in a basement with concrete walls, and it seems sturdy enough to be freestanding. It was a pain to put together – you definitely need two people – but it looks great!

Just want to say that the wine rack went together easily without any head scratching or swear words. The wood is clear and smooth, the hardware is nicely finished brass, the unit is sturdy, and it looks terrific. I’m ordering another so I can get rid of the cases stacked throughout the house and finally know exactly what I have!
